Yes I said it. I am a treehugger mom. And you know what? I am proud of it.
Here are some of the symptoms of being a treehugger mom:
- I breastfed for as long as my daughter wanted to. I was very disapointed she didn't want to anymore after a year
- I use cloth diapers and I LOVE it. I do not want to fill a landfill with something that can be avoided
- I am all about organic food at least for my daughter. It's too bad it's so hard to find good organic food here in Idaho
- I recycle pretty much anything. Must be my German genes. Where I come from EVERYTHING gets recycled and it hurts me to see that everything just gets thrown away.
- I try to avoid plastic toys which is almost impossible if you have family and friends that keep giving (I apprecite it really but maybe we can smuggle in some wooden toys every now and then? please?)
There's much more but so little time to type.
As soon as Ani wakes up from her nap I have to get her ready and head to work. Another day, another dollar.
